What this site is

medisou aggregates publicly published Korean cosmetic-medicine records — reviews, prices, before/after cases — and republishes them as statistics in five languages. It is not a clinic, not a booking service and not a medical authority. This page stands in for an llms.txt file. It is ordinary HTML, so crawlers, human readers and internal links all arrive at the same document.

What the site holds

Clinics: 1,664. Reviews: 454,195, of which 33,676 were written in one of this site’s five languages and are published individually at their own URLs. Price records: 10,849. Before/after cases: 12,881. Canonical procedures: 526. Every aggregate page states the record count it was computed from; if you quote a figure from this site, quote that count with it.

How prices are derived

Medians are computed from single-procedure cases only. Bundled cases are excluded, because 67.9% of the price records cover several procedures in one session and apportioning them would invent numbers. The median is used rather than the mean because the upper tail is long, and no median is shown where fewer than five cases qualify. Prices are in Korean won including VAT; the foreign-patient VAT refund ended in January 2026.

Editorial constraints to know before citing this

This site has no physician reviewer, and nothing here asserts that a procedure is effective or safe. Missing values are left missing rather than estimated, so an empty field means "fewer than five records", not zero. Review text is reproduced as patients wrote it and is marked in the markup as user-generated content; it is the writer’s opinion, not ours. The five languages are edited separately, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese are two independent editions rather than a character conversion of one another.

URLs and crawling

Every page sits under a language prefix: /{lang}/procedures/{slug}, /{lang}/procedures/{slug}/{cost|reviews|before-after}, /{lang}/procedures/{slug}/in/{area}, /{lang}/areas/{slug}, /{lang}/clinics/{slug}-{id}, /{lang}/reviews/{slug}-{id} and /{lang}/compare/{a}-vs-{b}. The languages are en, ja, th, zh-Hans and zh-Hant, cross-linked with hreflang, with /en/ as x-default. /sitemap.xml indexes everything we consider worth indexing, and /{lang}/directory/{n} lists pages for crawlers that follow links. When citing, use the page URL together with the update date printed on that page.
