My lip line is fading and i have light pigmentation on it
• How was it before getting treated?
This clinic is like a factory specifically for Japanese customers. And its super weird I have a feeling they pay some Korean girl to stand around pretending to be a customer.
I came in and the staff seemed super chaotic, paper, money, calculators were shuffling around everywhere. I was told to sit, the waiting room is small and there are about 20 or so japanese customers coming and going.
They apply the numbing cream in the waiting area, zero privacy. Its extra strange since no one else does that in japan or korea (so far as I've seen)
First I had the consultation which was very brief, but I mentioned I'm mainly concerned about my lip line, and that I dont want to over draw my lip but keep my natural line. She said its ok the technician will help me select a colour, and i paid double for this option. at the end the woman told me it would cost extra with tax, which they didnt mention when I confirmed the cost via chat weeks beforehand. I almost left, but they offered a discount.
They then applied the numbing cream in the waiting room. I waited ahout 20 minutes and then I was called into the treatment room which is this very basic room with 3 beds, so other people are right
next to you. I chose the colour I want but was told it would wear off too quickly, so they mixed in another colour.
the technician didnt speal japanese or english so she didn't talk to me at all during the process, aside from to say "I'm starting". She only showed me my face after she was finished.
The process itself was quite painful. At the end (it took about 30 minutes when I was told it would take 60-90) she finally gave me a mirror. i pointed out that my upper lip wasnt completely done. She fixed it. I already suspected she whitened my lip line. It's hard to see your lips immediately after because your lips are very swollen and look bigger than normal, but now I can see she "whitened" my bottom lip line and the middle of my upper lip. The result is this super unnatural and unflattering straight bottom lip and an "m" shape upper lip that is overall smaller than my natural lip. Imagine a Chinese celeb with lots of plastic surgery - that's the look.
I understand that this maybe the trend or a
frequent request for some customers but i DEFINITELY didn't ask for it. If the technician is considering doing something other than my natural lip line, they should draw the lip line first and show me, the same way they do for eyebrows! Or at least ask! Now I have to wait several weeks to redo it somewhere else where technicians don't decide to be creative. It's my face, not a picasso painting.
Very disappointing experience.

That one guy who spoke english was nice. Everyone else had their heads on a swivel and looked like couldn't care less if your face fell off in the middle of the waiting room.
