It’s been one month since my rhinoplasty at Cocoline, and overall, I’m really happy with how things are healing so far. The first couple of weeks were definitely the hardest. I had swelling, some bruising under my eyes, and a bit of stiffness when smiling. It also felt a little strange when I needed to wash my nose like it wasnt mine and needed to be extra gentle because any pressure felt strange and more than it was.
Right now, most of the visible swelling has gone down, though I can still tell my nose is a bit puffy especially around the tip and bridge. My surgeon told me that’s totally normal and can take several months (even up to a year) to fully refine. Despite that, I can already see a big improvement in shape and balance compared to before. My side profile looks smoother, and the overall fits my face a little more aesethically.
Breathing has also improved — I didn’t realize how much a deviated septum had affected me until it was corrected.
I’m still being careful: no glasses, no strenuous exercise, and I sleep with a pillow to slightly elevate my head which helps woth reducing swelling. I do sleep on my side as I asked and the front desk lady who did my consultation said it was fine as long as I didnt put any pressure on my nose. My incision lines are healing really cleanly, and I’ve been applying gentle moisturizer and sunscreen daily as instructed.
Overall, I’d say I’m about 70–80% healed in appearance, and I’m already loving the results. The recovery takes patience, but it’s worth it. Every week I notice subtle changes, and my nose feels more like mine again.
