• Concerns before treatment I wanted bigger eyes and a higher eyelid crease. • How was it before getting treated? Please see my first review (posted from a different account than this one since I lost access to the first account) for initial comments. • Results It has been 2.5 months since my surgery. It is still getting lower each week. I wanted pretty in out lines but I’m concerned about it falling too low as my eyelids are becoming hooded. I don’t want the skin to touch my lashes. I think my ideal crease height was around 1 month and 3 weeks after surgery. There is still a prominent scar left by the epicanthoplasty on my right inner corner but I’m not too concerned about it yet as I am hopeful it will heal. I take care to apply sunscreen and keep my scars out of the sun. I apply silicone scar cream every day. It is more obvious in person than my pictures because it is bumpy, but it is still early so this is probably normal. The creases are not perfectly even either but I think it’s possibly because of a little extra swelling in left eye. I’m more concerned about the crease height. I asked the clinic staff about how much more my crease height is expected to drop and they said that as my scars are still healing, it could affect the height and make it appear lower as well as make the creases uneven. I will make another review around 4 months to show the progress. I think the ptosis correction is good. It is very subtle but I do notice the slight difference in the shape of my eye. It is a little less triangle shaped which was another insecurity of mine before the surgery. I also see a little more light reflection in my eye. Dual canthoplasty is also a subtle difference but I am satisfied with it. I did make a request for subtle sharper and longer inner corners for my epicanthoplasty but maybe the change I asked for is too subtle because I don’t notice any difference other than the scarring so far. • Comments My healing journey is not finished yet as the staff tell me I need to wait longer for final results. The staff try to reassure me a lot which makes me feel a little better. I will try to stay hopeful. The clinic offers me free scar tissue treatments for up to a year which is very kind but I can’t take it as I don’t live in Korea.
