• Concerns before treatment I got sliding genioplasty in 2024 and shaved the tip of my chin again in 2026. Naturally because of the facial contouring, I began to notice my double chin a lot more due to my facial bones getting smaller, but not the surrounding tissues and muscles. My botox injector talked to me a lot about how pointless microneedling, ultherapy, and other procedures that are meant to “tighten” your chin was for her because the effects are either temporary or not drastic enough. She really recommended me to get a double chin lift and I loved her results. • How was it before getting treated? I’m the type of person who wants a one and done procedure where I know the results will be 100% what I want and that’s why I chose Sinsang. Not only was their communication lines one of the best I’ve ever experienced, they are very thorough and technical when it comes to what procedures they recommend to you. Joanne took a lot of time to break down the medical terminology to help me better understand each procedure and what needed to be done. In my case, I was recommended to get the NR2 procedure to additionally shave my salivary glands as they were so large and noticeable just at first glance. I heard that some double chin lift clinics only do physical/visual exams to determine your procedures, but what set Sinsang apart was how well they documented and collected data about your anatomy. The sonogram the doctor used gave me live video footage of all the tissues, muscles, and glands in my mouth and they measured them right in front of me. I felt 100% safe and in very good and confident hands the entire way through. I also want to mention how great the nurse was at finding my veins! It’s not often it only takes one poke to find it, so I was very grateful. I loved all the English speakers at Sinsang, they were so lovely to chit chat with and held my hand as I was receiving anesthesia. I felt so much warmth and support— I don’t think people talk about the emotional aspect of surgery enough, but it mattered a lot to me. This was my sister’s first ever experience at a plastic surgery clinic and she was very nervous. It was very difficult to explain the procedures in a way that didn’t make her stress worse, and I did not want to pressure her into doing anything she wasn’t mentally prepared for. That is why I am so impressed with Sinsang, they really helped calm her nerves and by the time she was about to step into the surgery room, she was completely fine and even a little excited. They did a fantastic job of answering all of her questions, double checking to make sure she hadn’t missed any of the procedural explanations, and was very honest to her about her potential results. They offered sliding genioplasty as she has a recessed chin and let her know how that might change her results while respecting that she wanted to consider it at a later date instead of making the decision right then and there. I just love Joanne and our doctor so much, they are so nice to be around and even though they are such busy bees they never miss a beat and make sure all the checks and balances are done! • Results Sinsang also offers different skincare procedures that can be done during your main surgery as well. I even got complimentary hair exosome injections as my hair has been thinning out due to wearing a compression band all month from other procedures. It was so kind of them to offer it since they knew I had gone through back to back surgeries during my Korea trip— I think my first shower post-op I lost like a 1/4th of my hair. There’s even a dermatologist on site who can diagnose and list entire regimens they can do under general anesthesia. This clinic is SO well staffed and thorough— like one phone call later and a doctor just appears and gives you a run down just like that. I was very impressed, I have not seen a clinic run so well before. The after care is also very lovely. The next day you will receive wound care and the nurse will teach you how to properly take care of your stitches and how to wear the compression band as it’s the most important part of how your long term results will look. You’ll also get LED treatment and hyperbaric chamber the day they remove stitches. This is the first time I’ve been offered more than laser/LED treatments for aftercare, so it was quite the treat! • Comments The doctor, Seogil Choi (highkey very handsome) was very confident, concise, and never hesitated about his diagnosis for my chin! My surgeon changed from the chief doctor due to scheduling issues, but I am highly satisfied and have full trust in my doctor especially after seeing my results just a day after the procedures. It’s insane how natural it looks, it’s like this is how my chin has always looked (besides the very colorful bruising).
