• Concerns before treatment I had a hooked nose shape before and wanted to improve the shape. • How was it before getting treated? Before treatment, I had two detailed consultations with Dr. Chung, one was a virtual video consultation and the other was in-person. • Results Initially, the ear which was used as the donor site for cartilage and fascia had numbness, but most of the sensation has returned and greatly improved over the healing period. • Comments I had my rhinoplasty and lip lift surgery with Dr. Chung on February 10, 2026! I am now almost approaching 6 months post op, and my swelling has reduced significantly! The nose shape is extremely natural, short, and feminine, and Dr. Chung preserved the projection length from my face perfectly. From a functional standpoint, Dr. Chung carefully preserved all the nasal functions, so my breathing is good, in fact it is better after the surgery! I had 3 mm removed from the lip area, so at this point in time I don’t have any lip incontinence anymore since the swelling is gone. The post-surgical philtrum length is about 11-12 mm at the highest point, and about 13 mm at the cupids bow. At the incision site, there is no hypertrophy and it is completely smooth now; I will continue to apply fading cream to the slight pigmentation in the area.
