• Concerns before treatment I decided to get these procedures because they addressed concerns I had for many years. I always had a very deep tear trough, which made me look tired even when I was well rested. I also had a naturally recessed chin with very little jawline definition, and a double chin when looking down. I wanted to achieve a more balanced facial profile, better jawline contour, and a fresher, more rested appearance while still looking like myself. • How was it before getting treated? Before the surgery, the consultation was friendly and straightforward, although it felt a little brief. My surgeon did not speak English, but he was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable. Kelly translated everything clearly and took great care of me throughout the process, making communication easy and reassuring. When I first arrived at the clinic, I had a little difficulty finding the entrance, but once I got inside, the staff were welcoming and everything went smoothly. • Results Overall, I am very happy with my results. The surgery went well, and the changes look very natural. My tear trough is now barely visible, which makes me look much more refreshed, and my double chin is completely gone. My jawline is also more defined, while still looking like a natural version of myself. The recovery was easier than I expected. I did have some bruising on my neck and swelling that lasted for several weeks, but I experienced very little actual pain. It was mostly tenderness rather than pain. For the liposuction, a small incision was made underneath my chin and closed with stitches. This will leave a small scar, but I was informed about it beforehand, and it is in a location that is not noticeable in everyday life.
