• Concerns before treatment I am in my early 30s and I thought it was the right time to get the procedure rather than wait any longer. I would rather enjoy its benefits at a young age. I wasn't much worried. • How was it before getting treated? It's close to the subway station. The clinic was clean. No waiting time since I came early in the morning. The staff walking me through the procedure. The doctor recommended LASEK rather than LASIK based on my eye conditions. The price was the same as the advertisement. No pressure from the staff for me to get additional procedures. The surgery was quick: they get you prep up, you go into the surgical room. After 10 min it's over. No pain during the surgery, just a bit of a burn chicken smell. The nurses were kind and gave me mandarines. The doctor was professial and polite. No complain really. • Results I would recommend any foreigner to go with a friend/family member the day of surgery. 1 hour after the surgery, the aneasthesic effect wears off and pain emerges. Pain is intense the first 8 hours. It's similar to when you put contact lenses the wrong way. Pain happens every 10 minutes then disappears and come back for 8 hours. You cry a lot. On the second day, you still cant open your eyes especially since they are puffy due to crying. On the third day, you can open your eyes and start moving more effectively. On the fourth, I returned to work. A bit of discomfort but managable ! After two weeks only, I could see like I had a pair of brand new eyes. I need to wear sunglasses outside and use eye drops three times a day (for 3 months after surgery). The eyedrops are not expensive. I went to get a checkup after 1 week post surgery and I will go back tomorrow for my 1 month post surgery. The clinic is really good and everyone from the nurses, to the consultant to the doctor are not only professional but polite and caring. • Comments I recommend 100%. Best clinic in Seoul hands down.
