• Concerns before treatment I got this procedure because my lower jaw stuck out at the sides and was unproportional compared to the rest of my face. • How was it before getting treated? This was my frist time getting surgery in my life. After the operation I had a lot of swelling and brusing. The first week will be hard, and the worst swelling and bruising came 2-3 days after the procedure. Every thing went smoothly, however perhaps I could have sped up my recovery time if I took it more easy and started using bruise cream and arnica day 1. • Results Aftercare was very through and Im so thankful for the nurses who looked after me and administered pain medication.
