• Concerns before treatment I wanted to make minor tweaks to my face. I liked the way I looked but my cheekbones and jaws are just a little bit too large and my chin was a bit wide and square. I decided to do 3 point facial contour to address those issues. but I wanted a subtle, natural result. • How was it before getting treated? I had a really bad experience with Dr. Lim. I waited for a long time to see him because I had a few earlier consultations at the same facility. They scheduled him for last and in the afternoon when my jet lag was kicking in. He acted like he knew all my concerns. I stressed I only wanted minor changes and didn't want my face to be too small. He insisted on shortening my chin saying it would need to be once the cheekbones are reduced. I made the mistake of listening to him thinking that maybe he knows better because of his good reviews and years of experience. I showed him reference photos of what I wanted. Toward the end, he started to rush me, didn't let me think through or plan the process with me. I had to schedule the surgery ahead of time because I was told there was a long wait time. He told me everything will be marked and discussed the next day before the surgery. But on the day of the surgery, he again rushed me and only marked my existing jaw line before rushing me to surgery. I should have walked out, but I was on no food for 12 hours at that point. In my opinion, he was rude and just wants to rush things because he didnt want to spend the time. He didn't work with me to understand or plan his surgery according to what I wanted. • Results As for the surgery, not only did he completely ignore what I wanted and said, but he actually messed up and botched the procedures. -For the cheek bones, he cut too close to my eyes and where the bones are connected back again, there is a clear ridge that I can feel on both sides of the cheek. In fact, you can see the large ridge on the right side from the CT scan they took after the surgery. As a result, there are visible dents around my eyes and it just looks bad. In addition, I can't raise my right eyebrow as of now 3.5 months post op and my left upper lip has been numb since the surgery. -for the jaw line, he cut more than I wanted. I even showed him what I wanted and when we went through some of his previous work I told him less than what he cut for his other clients. Besides that, the two sides are also uneven. One side is visibly shorter than the other. And in some areas the cut isn't even a straight line. I feel like he just winged it. -for the chin, he shortened it, without correcting the squareness or wideness of the chin. So my chin is now shorter but still wide and it looks recessed from the side. I showed him reference photos of what I wanted which he completely ignored. In my opinion, this is a factory clinic, he does the same procedure for everyone without taking into account your unique features. I wonder if he even looked at my CT scans for more than 5 minutes. He was dismissive and his work is just so sloppy. My impression is that they just rush things to get as many procedures scheduled as possible. I feel like he just winged it with my procedure and did a sloppy job to get it over with. And I think because the work is so sloppy and aggressive, I apparenly had a lot of bleeding and had to stay overnight, which was also a horrible experience. There are multiple things that I now have to fix. I would caution anyone considering him. Don't make the same mistakes I did. • Comments I would rate 0 if I could. This is a factory style clinic. He just wanted to get through as many surgeries as he can to make money. His work was so sloppy and I question his basic asthestic sense but I think he just didn't care.
