• Concerns before treatment I chose rhinoplasty because I wanted a natural but more refined nose. My main concerns were my very flat radix/low bridge, less defined tip, and alar flaring especially when smiling. I wanted improvement that would still look subtle and harmonious with my face, not obviously “done.” • How was it before getting treated? Overall, my experience with the clinic was smooth and professional. The staff were helpful and the doctor explained the options clearly. I had dorsal augmentation with silicone implant, tip plasty using rib cartilage, and alar lift. Alar base reduction was initially discussed, but I was undecided, so we proceeded with alar lift instead. I am still healing, but the result so far looks natural and subtle — even my boyfriend and colleagues did not realise I had rhinoplasty done. I can see the improvement more in person than in photos, although I may still consider alar base reduction later if the flaring remains after full healing. • Results Because rib cartilage was used, I do have a rib harvest scar, which is expected and something to keep in mind for anyone considering this type of rhinoplasty.
