• Concerns before treatment I am a small A cup and have been wanting breast implants for years. After having children I knew it was a good time for me. • How was it before getting treated? ㄷㅂㄷ Consultation Review My consultation for a breast augmentation at The Body in Seomyeon was scheduled for the evening. I am a foreigner living in the Busan area so I brought a friend to act as my translator. I had been thinking about having this procedure done for years now and I have been to other consultations. This consultation costed only 10,000krw and the staff was patient with me as I was late with making the bank transfer and also offered to take payment in person without losing my confirmed consultation time. The Body operates on 4 floors of one building which is easy to find from Exit 9 of Seomyeon station. Consultations are on the 7th floor. The office is not overly bright and the ambiance is welcoming. The front office staff greeted us right away and were ready with the initial consultation paperwork. We did not have to wait long. Instant coffees, tea and juice are available gratis while waiting. I knew to expect to take pre consultation photos. The office has a changing room, lockers with keys and hygiene amenities in the bathroom. Photos were quick and I was impressed with their 3D imaging camera that allowed the doctor to show realistic images of my before and afters prior to surgery. When chatting with the consultant (before the doctor) my friend and translator knew what I wanted in regards to size and profile so it was easy for them to relay to my consultant. My consultant was patient, easy going and friendly. She was receptive to my wants even while I used my friend as a translator. We went over the various implant types and discussed the best options for me. After this session we went back to the waiting area while the doctor reviewed the notes from the consultant. When we met with the doctor, the doctor took measurements of my chest and wrote it down. The doctor then discussed and showed me on a large screen in their office the different options in size and implant type would look like on me using the 3D imaging photos taken earlier. The doctor was kind and even with a translator I felt understood. After chatting the doctor had try on simulator implants to help me find a good fit. I was so happy with this experience and I knew after talking with the doctor that The Body would be a great place to get my surgery. Overall the consultation takes about 1 hour total and throughout the while process I never felt rushed or pushed to say yes to things. The experience was calm and the entire team was kind and supportive. • Results I am currently 1 month post operation and I am very happy. My new breasts are proportional to my body and do not make me look fake. I am no longer swollen and my implants are softening into place nicely. • Comments My overall experience at The Body has been very positive and the whole team is helpful and caring. I have messaged them many times and they have always responded with kindness. My doctor is experienced and took great care of me at every step. I will happily refer The Body to anyone looking for breast augmentation or other plastic surgeries.
